Assalam-o-Alaikum to every one.I am a new comer at this forum.I have done MA ELTL from PU and now i want to do MA English from NUML as an external Candidate .If any body know about its syllabus please inform me thanks.

You can call to the department of English NUML isb on this number 051 9257639, they will tell u about the dates and all the subjects, out of 20 subjects based on linguistics and literature u have to opt for 10. the rest any guidence u need in opting the subjects, we will review.. wish u u all the best

A. Introduction to the prologue
b. The prologue to the canterbury tales.
I got da buk for prolog to the canterbury tales bt cdnt find introduction so plz tel me wat is it. N u didnt mail!

I am really sorry for late response. As far as I remember we only had The Prologue to the Canterbury Tales by Chaucer. For this we had a book published by NUML itself. About introduction to the prologue: since we didnt have it in our course so I can't guide you in this regard.

Regarding linguistics, (General Linguistics) I think the book The Study of Language by George Yule is not only basic but also very informative.
