My most vivid childhood memory, 10 April 1988, the day Ojhri Camp blew up. Although i lived in islamabad and the site of disaster was too farway, still it was something i cannot forget to date.
I was in kindergarten and had this habit of taking fresh roses for my teacher almost every morning, she would be too pleased with the flowers and placed them on her desk. And i considered it to be a great honor. When the first blast took place it was our break,we were playing in the ground, and then the mayhem broke out. Shells were actually landing in street, teachers were trying to organize the children, parents were rushing to pick up their children and in the middle of all that i saw this big boy in our class had actually picked up the roses i got for my beloved teacher that morning.
Unperturbed by the blasts i picked a fight there and then with him,'these were the roses I got for miss in the morning how can you take them without permission?' And he was telling me, no, no these roses are mine now. In the middle of that row when i was near to snatching back the flowers, my father picked me and carried home... It still makes me wonder how could i fight over roses in the middle of all that chaos...

well no doubt childhood is the golden age of life..... every want to return to childhood but.......

Life is a tale told by an idiot...

Same memories are with me. Waiting anxiously for 7:25 cartoon while Baba were calling me and taking car out of porch. That was really critical point, standing in the middle of the tv lounge door and taking glass of milk, praying for cartoon.

I am youngest of all sisters so, my childhood is full of good memories. We never querell as I am of compromising nature.

Han bohut gusa ata tha jub mein itni mahnat sy chalghozy chelti thi sardion mein or wo koe utha k ly jata tha. Tup charhti thi q k chalghozy celna boht mushkil hota tha.

I do remember the day when my brother got injured while playing and I took him hospital myself. That was horrible to see stitching process. I was weeping, trembling and was not willing to go out of doctor's room and got faint. That Doctor uncle still make fun at me while remembering my situation.

I do agree with Islah Gee. Those were really sweet days. No tension. apni dunia thi,masti thi.Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh............ .........

perhatay thay ....wo teacher daily class mein akay aik sawal poochhtay thay ...he used to ask about kashmir issue

...wo teacher kehtay thay kai is sawal ko yad kerna hai.....mein bahut koshish kerta tha per mujay wo sawal yad hi nai hota tha aur her roz mujay saza

milty thy....ro ro kai mera bura hal ho jata tha...mein her subject mein bahut zaheen tha per yai aik topic mujay yad nai hota tha due to difficult historical names

and termnology..ap sab forum walon sai mera aik sawl hai shayad mein galat hon per phir bhi mujay yai bataya jai kai aik chhota bacha age 7 to 8 years ...jis ko

apnay gher kai issues ka achay tareekay sai pata na ho wo kashmir issue kai baray mein kia bataiga..........!!!! per shayad primary education tak hamary teachers

sensible nai hotay aur punishment ko bahut prefer kertay hain.

Every body has some sweet memories of child hood , and I have the most fabulous memories of my childhood.
my pranks
I never slept during the middle of the day .I used to go out side with my friends immediatly after finishing my lunch.My childhood friends names were
Baber, Basit ,Imran, Zafar,Kamran,Shehnela, and Shehzadi and my brother Arif. And many more girls
My father was posted in Quetta, and I spent almost my all childhood there.
We did cycling, swimming, mounting, kitting.We played cricket, hockey, football, frisby, table tannis, bedminton, ethletics, gymnastics.We also played dramas.And I was the best debator in schools and therefore I have the honour of showing my oratory skills in different competetions.
I dont remember any single day that we didnt play prank.I tell you briefly what we did.
We used to stick the solution tape on bell buttons on the gates of different houses when there was power off, and when the light had come there was a continuous bell ringging.
Casting bucket full of watter over my elder brother(Arif is 5 years older than me) to awake him and then running towards my father for saving me from brother's anger.At home I was the youngest and my all sisters and brothers were annoyed of my movements(me ne sab ki naak me dam kr k rakha hua tha, kisi ka koi kam hota to rishwat leta, jis din meri chutti hoti, us din to sab ki shamat hoti , mere bohat se naam b rakhe gay lakin me Q batao ap logon ko)
me or mere dost Sarkari gari ki headlight nikall rhe the ta ke night me bedminton ki lighting ka intezam kia ja sake , (purani gari thi,khari hui halat me bohat se dembu ke chatte b the)to hamare peeche Dambo per gae, mere to mun(face) per 4-5 dambuun ne kata(mere doston ka b kuch esa hi hall tha, jin me kuch larkian b theen), jab gher aya to ghar wale pehle to pehchane nai ,jab pata chala me hun to hans hans k mera dil khrab kr dia.Agle din jab school gia to meri class b mujh pe bohat hansi .phir aik period khali tha jis me class ne bohat shor kia, me ne shor kia, Principal sb aa gae , unhon ne sub ko 2, 2 sticks lagai jab mere samne aae to pucha ye kia hua ha , me ne batay to mujh per tars krte hue aage chale gae.Phir me puri class pe hans raha tha or puri class ro rhi thi..ha ha ha.
