When people register date of birth then they go for a lucky number or whatever the reason is i.e. 01.01 You will see many of people have 14th August as their date of birth.

P.S: I did not intend to offend anyone. :P

My post is not meant for criticism but a little fact.

Most of the birth dates are on the mercy of primary school teachers who record your birth date by keeping in view your admission eligibility regardless of your actual date of birth. This trend was common in rural areas where the concept of Birth Certificate was not in vogue. Normally, teachers used to assign you date of birth which was often common and easy. Almost all the kids were assigned age of 5 years even if they were of 4 or 6 years at the time of admission in primary school. Parents used to be less bothered about the actual date of birth of their offspring. Now trend has changed with the fashion of celebrating Birth Dates and competition among education sector.

After reading your post, I saw the list straight away and it's really a long loooong list

Along with other reasons, the list is this much long here because many people don't give their correct DOB while filling out the membership for this forum. And alot many end in selecting 01-01 as it is so conveniently located

P.S. I wish them all anyways a very happy birthday

Raz bro. Your point is valid and this is one of the reason but in many cases the people(rural, urban both) don't play with their actual dates; they just play with the years and register their birth day dates same with difference of 1, 2 and even 3 years...

Yeah..., this is much more common thing as compared to the reason which you have mentioned...

Especially amongst Pathans...

Here why so many birthdays today? In my innocent observation because people don't care for their birthdays, when they are going to register their accounts for cssforum (and just enter 1.1...), even don't care for their login names that's why... We can also predict this thing from their current ages haha some are having 65,55, 53, 52, 48, 47 years... : )etc
