Ok. What if someone is not intelligent, but works real hard?
And i believe, nothing good is achieved without some hard work to get there.
-
So, the real recipe for success is, hard work, intelligence and of course, luck.

yes azure you are right. The motive of sharing this was to discourage standalone hardwork. The recipe you shared is perfect.
By the way have you started preparing for the second attempt? I am planning to start my prep in this june in sha Allah.
The other day I visited my study room and it was in the same state in which it was left on the last paper of CE 2012. Seems like two to three days will be required for dusting and getting it into shape.

Stay blessed and remember me in your prayers

"Ilm amal k baghair byfaida hy or amal ilm k baghair jahalat hy"

So I am agree with above picture.
No doubt handwork matters a lot but if you just hardworking without proper guidance and knowledge, may not bring desired result.

Right. Like in the pic above, the guy was /intelligent/ to think of a smarter way to do his work, then he /worked hard/ for making "square" shape "round" and not to forget that he was /lucky/ he had the right tools with him at the time of need.

Yes, work smart and hard!
-

I have not yet started any preparation, i have a couple of other things that are keeping me busy at the moment. (PMS plus job)
Shaed next month say...
But you have chosen a perfect timing for starting preparation as a lot of initial time would be wasted in making a proper study routine due to lazy summer noons, Ramadan etc.

-
Thank you, you too stay blessed.
May ALLAH make things easy for you and bless you with success in everything you do! Amen

Dear any work becomes harder when it is not being performed smoothly. There are two ways of lifting a box from ground to top floor: one is through stairs and other is through elevator. There is a mental conflict, going on all the time, on exertion of strengths in right direction. In-fact decision of actual criteria of direction is the ultimate work, rest is just an execution of a pre-written scripts with a little innovation.
