Query regarding liver transplant in Pakistan
Dear fellows brother of one of my friends is suffering from problem in his liver due to hepatitis. Doctors have suggested transplant, if anyone is having some kind of info regarding the hospitals/doctors which perform liver transplant in Pakistan then please do share. Furthermore, is there any kind of NGO or welfare organization which can help them financially because this treatment is very expensive and the concerned family is not very rich. Urgent replies needed.

Brother, ask your friend to contact Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation Karachi (SIUT). Its website is Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation The top management is quite better thn that of many other hospitals and they more often work on free/lost cost systems. Your friend's family should not wait for any more days because if his brother needs a liver transplant thn it should be done as soon as possible because if it is delayed, it may cause accumulation of many toxic elements in his body. The best thing could be donation of some part of liver by some of his brothers, a person can sustain with half or so liver easily with slight care. Donation by a near relative also increases chance of survival for the patient... God bless the family and bestow health upon the ailing fellow from HIS vast vast unlimited bounties. amin.
