Oh my goodness, im really amazed at what nawaz sharif said infront of zia ul haq’s son.and a wonderful contrast has been made between the two speeches. and both the videos are quite contradictory in nature.
You are very right when u said, this can only happen in Pakistan, infact they all are alike. I could also see Qazi hussain ahmed sitting on the stage in the video. He must be there to express the same views as well.

It is dirty politics man just for self-interest. Zia-ul-Haq introduced him in politics so he is indebted to him, Musharaf expelled him from that politics thus he became arch enemy of that dictator. We cannot achieve the fruits of democracy unless our leaders leave the politics of hypocrisy. That is the difference between current rotten eggs and the legends of Pakistan movement who did not compromise on their words and actions; they were firm and determinant in their dealings.

The present deplorable state of our country is the out come of our political culture. This country is in dire need of statesmen. We have enough politicians but not a single statesman. A politician thinks of the next election; a statesman of the next generation. A politician looks for the success of his party ; a statesman ...for that of his country. The statesman wishes to steer, while the politician is satisfied to drift. Anonymous
