what could be the entirly new system of govt? well i think we had democracy but we are not using its entire benifits becuse our leaders dont know not how to use it,
i feel we are only on backhand beacuse of illitracy and corruption. if we could control this, everything will be fine. BUT DEMOCRACY IS ALWAYES A BEST SYSTEN OF GOVT FOR EVERY COUNTRY.

The people simply want an improvement in their lives, a change in the status quo and a visible progress towards betterment. They are least interested in the high western ideals of democracy, nor do they have any love lost for revolutionaries. It makes no difference to people whether those ruling them are men in khakis, beards, or cvs.
Anyone who comes and gives them a feeble ray of hope, they try to follow him or listen to his rhetoric. For instance, when Altaf Hussain demands a revolution or martial law, people welcome him in the distant hope that this 'might' bring the desired change.
As for the ideal system, it is debatable as to which one suits us. But in my opinion, differences between the proper working of these systems come at a later stage. First at least any of the system should work. Any system, be it democracy, presidential or military, if works properly is certainly better than the present mess and can bring out the aspired change. the merits and demerits are very sublime relative to the state we are in.

I think Democracy with true leadership will be best option for Pakistan with exclusion of current corrupt leaders. Rule of Law should be ensured to upheld the constitution and protect the fundamental rights of the people.

Its true that pakistan need democracy but for the real enjoyment of this form of govt and getting full advantage of it we need to educate our mass before relying on this system.democracy means equality irrespective of caste and sect and race.leadership arises out of mass if the people have no awareness about right and wrong how could they elect true and sincere representatives.democracy is best form of govt as linkon said it as GOVT OF PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE AND BY THE PEOPLE.
we often talk about strong and robust leadership but before demanding it we should concentrate on our roll.majority of us on this forum have right if vote,we can vote sincere person but we always prefer the candidates favoured by our family.
