Assalam O Alaikum Friends, I have a very bad habit of saying YES to everyone if someone asks me for anything even if i want to say "no". Please tell me the way to say "NO" to people.

Try to delay the person asking for your "YES"
Give him your "Yes" but with certain conditions and excuses.
Bate your sentiments and be outspoken.
This is how i overcome the same habit of mine.

BY THE WAY GUYS.. THIS IS A POSITIVE TRAIT OF PERSONALITY.. COMPLAISANT PEOPLE NEVER INTEND TO HURT ANY ONE.

They can suffer self disturbance sometimes but always live up to the expectations linked to them by their fellows.

It really is a great thing if one has the ability of saying no, but without hurting anyone.
Some great brain had said.

Learn to say No.
it is worth learning Latin.

(In that age learning Latin was considered a great achievement)

oh..my..god...... i thought i am alone with such menace..... but many friends are with me........however the solution i found is to just say "NO" whenever you want, nothing will happen. Phansi koi nhi lagaey ga. Zyada say zyada naraaz ho jaey ga. kuch dinon baad phir Raazi. So Live your life. We are not sent on this world to just please others everytime but to an extent. From now onwards i'll also follow this method.
