Sorry for being off-topic but why people here on cssforum are so reserved, dry & always waiting for opportunities to show-off their knowledge plus language skills??? Is this something related to low serotonin level caused by lack of extra-curricular activities & stress of exams or people here have pre-supposed themselves to be CSP officers. Very few people, I have seen here, seam to be genuine who behave same as they actually are without any super-imposed personality. In my humble opinion, this isn't a good practice, especially in the case when unfortunately, such people can't qualify CSS, it is really hard for them to adjust in their lives.

P.S: No personal attack intended & mods please delete this post or let me know if I should make a separate thread for the sake of positive discussion, if this post seams inappropriate to you(due to being at the wrong place & thread).

Totally endorse your opinion! I have interacted with many of the aspirants and commoners (under training) in person. They are all very friendly and easy to talk. However, if I see their profiles here on the forum, they are completely antagonistic to who they are in real. Maybe, it has to do with the ambience of the forum which requires everybody to strike the point. All off-topic threads are deleted, No option to chat with other members, Contact info cannot be shared in posts etc.

Yes, actual CSPs are a lot different but what makes me sad is that I have really seen people totally shaken off when they are unable to qualify. And mostly, people who super-impose another personality on themselves couldn't qualify. It is very painful to see them broken from inside.

Some people are really stuck-up for God knows what reason? And they really fall flat with their inflated egos. Today you saw yourself that the guy who was correcting everyone's spelling made a lot of blunders including the spelling of 'spelling' itself calling it 'spellings'.
Once a guy corrected my typo, and he wrote a really long note explaining the usage, the point was to make fun of me, because he was losing the argument. He himself writes in a pathetic flowery and verbose language and he has no idea of connotation of many words and phrases.
These so-called grammar nazis miss their own p's and q's. They better get a life or develop flawless English skills before they can even claim to have them.
