Idhar Na Dekho,
k jo bahadur,
qalam k ya tegh k dhani the,
jo azm o himmat k muddai the,
ab un k hatho me sidq-e-iman ki,
azmooda purani talwar mur gai he.

Jo kaj kulah sahib-e-hasham the,
jo ahl-e-dastar mohtaram the,
hawas k pur pech raston me,
kulah kisi ne girwi rakhdi,
kisi ne dastaar baich di he.

Udhar Bhi Dekho,
jo apne rakhshan lahu k dinar,
muft bazaar me luta kr,
nazar se ojhal hue,
or apni lehad me is waqt tak ghani hien.

Udhar bhi dekho,
jo harf-e-haq ki saleeb pr apna tan saja k,
jahan se rukhsat hue,
or ahl-e-jahan me is waqt tk nabi hien.
