اگر اے آگہی بیٹھا رہا میں پابگِل تنہا

نہیں مجھ کو ملے گا زندگی کاماحصِل تنہا

سمندر خواہشوں کے ،ساحلوں میں بٹ گیا ہوں میں

کہ اِک ساحل پہ میں ہوں دوسرے پردردِ دل تنہا

کوئی آنکھوں میں صدیوں سےمرے سپنا نہیں اترا

جزیرے جیسے بہتے پانیوں میں مستقِل تنہا

حوالوں کے ہیں اژدھام میرےچار سُولیکن

سوالوں کی جمعیت میں کھڑا ہوں مضمحِل تنہا

بدائے زندگی ربطِ مخالف جنسِ خُوباں ہے

کہ قبل از زندگی رہتے تھےدونوں آب و گِل تنہا

اشارےڈھنڈتا ہےفطرتِ یزداں کےہستی میں

خرد مندی کےبل بُوتے ،فقیہِ مُعتزِل تنہا

نہ رکھا تُو نے گردستِ مسیحائی میرے سر پر

نہیں ہوں گے یہ مُجھ سے گھاؤ دِل کے مندمِل تنہا

بہت ممکن ہے کہ اقباؔل ہوضربِ کلیمی سے

کوئی فرعون موسیٰ کے نگر میں پھرخجِل تنہا
