دیارِ دل کی رات میں چراغ سا جلا گیا
ملا نہیں تو کیا ہوا وہ شکل تو دکھا گیا
وہ دوستی تو خیر اب نصیبِ دشمناں ہوئی
وہ جھوٹی جھوٹی رنجشوں کا لطف بھی چلا گیا
جدائیوں کے زخم دردِ زندگی نے بھر دیئے
تجھے بھی نیند آگئی مجھے بھی صبر آگیا
پکارتی ہیں فرصتیں کہاں گئیں وہ صحبتیں
زمیں نگل گئی ہیں انہیں کہ آسماں کھا گیا
یہ صبح کی سفیدیاں یہ دوپہر کی زردیاں
اب آئینے میں دیکھتا ہوں میں کہاں چلا گیا
یہ کس خوشی کی ریت پر غموں کو نیند آگئی
وہ لہر کس طرف گئی یہ میں کہاں سما گیا
گئے دنوں کی لاش پر پڑے رہوگے کب تلک
الم کشو اٹھو کہ آفتاب سر پہ آگیا
