Badan mera hii sahii dopehar na bhaaye mujhe

Mai ghar sai teri tamuna pehan kai jab nikalu.N
Barhuna shehar mai koi nazar na aaye mujhey

Wo mera dost hai sarey jaha.N ko hai maaloom
Dagha karey wo kisi sai to sharm aaye mujhey

Mai apni zaat mai neelaam ho raha hun 'Qateel'
Gam-e-hayat sai keh do Khareed laaye mujhey

hum ney berbaad zindagi ker li

us ney dekha bari inayat sey
ankhon ankhon mein baat b ker li

aashqi mein bohat zaroori hey
be-wafai kabie kabie ker li

ham nahin jaantey chiraaghon ney
kion andheron sey dosti ker li

dherkanein dafan ho gayee hon gi
dil mein deewar kion kharri ker li
