Sulagte hue armaanon ki tiis abhi jaari hai.

Zakhm the kabhi jo aaj naasur ban gaye,
Un rishton ki kaid mein zindagi bechari hai..

Khushnasibi hai ki muhabbat men dard hi mila,
Varna to is sailaab mein bahti duniya saari hai..

Apni jeet ka aalam ki dil bhi haar gaye unse,
Ab to bas taqdeer se bhi haarne ki baari hai..

Saahilon ke pas hi milte hain sailaab aksar,
Tufaanon ke dar se kashti gahre paani mein utaari hai..

Dil ke kahne mein na aana, dil to naadan hai,
Itne par bhi hai un per fida, khata yeh hamaari hai...
