janay kis kis kay ghar gaiee hoo gee

itni larzaan na thee chiraagh ke loo
apnay saye say dar gayee hoo gee

chandini ik shab ke mehmaan thee
subah hootay hee mar gayee hoo gee

dair tuk woh khafa rahay mujh say
door tuk yeah khabar gayee hoo gee

aik darya ka rukh badaltay hee
aik nadee phir utar gayee hoo gee

jiss tarhaan woh safar pay nikla tha
saree rounaq udhar gayee hoo gee

raat souraj ko dhoondnay kay liyeah
ta ba hud e sehar gayee hoo gee

mairee yadoon kee dhoop chaoon mein
uss ke sourat nikhar gayee hoo gee

ya taluq na nibh saka uss say
ya tabiyaat hee bhar gayee hoo gee

tairi pal bhar ke dosti mohsin
uss ko bad'naam kar gayee hoo gee..
