Phir wuhi Rat aa gai sar pe
Wuhi wehshat zada si tanhai
or khayalat-e-muntashi r ka hujum
Sab se barh kar to ye ehsas-e-zayan
Dil to khona tha,kho diya ham ne
uske asar bhi magar na rahe.......
Na koi dard hai na bechaini..
Na koi justujoo rahi,na khalish..
Kuch to bachta ke ham saja lete
Apni benaam si ye tanhai..
Naam kya aisi rat ko dain ham?
Shab-e-furqat hai na, Shab-e-gham hai.
