Wo ik pal jo day gaya asoodgi kay saath
Jazboo ki taza dhoop mai pagal bana gaya

Pehlay mairay wajood pay utra wo boond boond
Barsa to phir ghata ki tarah mujh pay cha gaya

Wo jab mila to payas say lab khushk thay bohat
Lota to hasratoon ko wo pani pila gaya

Paband kr gaya mujhay wo lamhoon ki qaid mai
Aankhoon pay apni yaad kay pehray betha gaya
