teerah shabi mile ke jamaal-e-sahar miley
manzar ki arzoo hai nazar motebar miley

jo bhi gaya woh lout ke aaya nahi magar
her shaqs chahta hai teri rehguzar miley

is waaste taweel hai ashkoun ki dastaan
lamhe massaratoun ke bahoot mukhtasar miley

meri nazar thi jis pe woh manzil nahi mili
waise to raaste main kai raahbar miley

sajdey tadap rahe hain jabeen-e-niyaaz main
lekin yeh justuju hai tera sang-e-dar miley

kuch to qadam badhaiye rukne se faida
yeh zidd na kigeye ke wahi rehguzar miley

muddat ke baad mil to gayi roshni
lekin hamare wirsay main sab jaltey ghar miley
