Mujhy bta kr jhan bi jata main uss k haq main biyaan deta

Falak py ha ajnabi udassi zameen ki basti py khouf tari
Skoot-e-shab main bhtkta kb tk, ujhaar raah main azan deta

Jigar main khanjar uttar kr wo, ab bazm-e-matam saja rha hai
na younh krata jug hunsai, badan py chadar hi taan deta

O mery lafzoon main chahtoon k diye jlla kr bujhany waley
Pta jo mujh ko ye pehly hota, na ishq ka imtihaan deta

Tu jis ki khatir tanha beddi, tund bagholloon sy lar parha tha
Wo aap hawa ki zud main aaya, tuj ko kaya wo amman deta.
