mili hai sab ko sama'at teri azaan k liye
'jahan hai tere liye, tu nahin jahan k liye'*

ye faiz hai tere wade ka ae mere rahbar
k dar badar hoon hawa ki tarah amaan k liye

taweel umr ki sab mangte dua kyon hain
rah e hayat hai garche ik imtihaan k liye

jo ho sake to koi harf e motabir bhejo
azal se meri adhuri si dastaan k liye

sitaara e sar e misigaan sambhal kar rakhna
bane ga kal yehi tamheed dastaan k liye

sisakti daikh rahi hoon main sans lafzoon ki
koi kiran na rahi qariya e bayaan k liye

utar rahi hai daricha e khaab main ab shaam
k aarzoo hi nahin ab to saa'ibaan k liye

gaye dinon ki rafaqat hai or ham tanha
tamam sood the shaid isi zayaan k liye

tumhari yaad k thahre samandaron ki qasam
ye khamshi bhi aziyat hai jism o jaan k liye ...............

tujh say mus-taa-r pata hay zia
subh khurshein jo nikalta hay
kuch nahin hota haan judai mein
aankh say bus lahoo tapakta hay
day kay takleef khush huwa tha tu
bay sabab khud say kion ulajhta hay
na rahay jb nazar kay jam teray
may-kaday koun phir ththeharta hay
choor kar jub say tum gayay, Qaim
rooz jeeta hay rooz marta hay
