ek parda sa zamane se bana rahta hai

har naye mod par halaat naye hote haiN
umr bhar yaad kise ahd-e-wafa rahta hai

barisheiN maNgta ik ped jogioN ki tarha
umr bhar ek hi paoN pe khada rahta hai

marham-e-ashk lagana bhi hum ne chhod diya
kab talak dekhiye yeh zakham hara rahta hai

khak sahraoN ki chhani thi magar woh na mila
zarre-zarre meiN suna tha ke khuda rahta hai
