Mohabbat beet jati hai, wafa'en beet jati hain

Agarcha ankh say dil tak bohat barsat rehti hai
Magar ik din ye sab ki sab ghata'en beet jati hain

Udasi ki lakeeron kay siwa kuch bhi nahi rehta
Samander chor jata hai, hawa'en beet jati hain

Ajab dhoka sa ik kuch bhi samajh anay nahi deta
Zamanay lot jatay hain, sada'en beet jati hain

Museebat k dino main khas kar ye main nay dekha hai
Mere jaison kay hisay ki duaa'en beet jati hain

ابھی طوفان گزرنے دو
ابھی منظر نکھرنے دو
نیا سورج ابھرنے دو

بہت بے تاب ہوں میں بھی
بہت بے خواب ہوں میں بھی
لبِ مِضراب ہو تم بھی
لبِ مِضراب ہوں میں بھی

زرا سی دیر ہے باقی
ابھی اندھیر ہے باقی
ابھی گرداب ہے دریا
ہوا کا پھیر ہے باقی

ابھی کچی ہے سب کایا
ابھی مہکا نہیں سایا
ابھی کچھ دیر ٹھہر جاؤ
ابھی موسم نہیں آیا
