Main ne to us se wafa ki thi, bus wafaon ki tarah,
Main ne us shakhs ko chaha tha, bus panahon ki tarah,

Meri her baat pe wo, mujh ko ghalat kehta tha,
Apni her baat wo kerta tha, bus jafaon ki tarah,

Mujh se tha pyar ya shayad k dushmani thi ussay?
wo to ehsan bhi kerta tha, bus sazaon ki tarh.

Main ne bus peyar he manga tha peyar k badly,
or wo samajhta he raha mujh ko, bus gadaon ki tarah.

Main ne her saans mein Maroof bus pukara tha ussay,
meri her saans he nikli thi, bus duaon ki tarah,
