یہ جو ریگِ دشتِ فراق ہے یہ رُکے اگر
یہ رُکے اگر تو نشاں ملے
کہ جو فاصلوں کی صلیب ہے
یہ گڑی ہوئی ہے کہاں کہاں؟
میرے آسماں سے کِدھر گئی تیرے التفات کی کہکشاں
میرے بے خبر، میرے بے نشاں
یہ رُکے اگر تو پتا چلے
میں تھا کس نگر ، توُ رہا کہاں
کہ زماں و مکاں کی وُسعتیں
تجھے دیکھنے کو ترس گئیں
وہ میرے نصیب کی بارشیں
کِسی اور چھت پہ برس گئیں
