Subho_e_ferwa ko main iss simat bulayon kesay
Shehr ki rahoon say zulmat ko metayoon kesay

Shaam ke rung tu jazbon ko jagaa daitey hain mager
Dasht-e-furqat mein tujhey dhoond ke layoon kesay

Wadi-e-ishq mein her gaam tha dehshat ka sama'n
Raa'h mein guzri hai jo tuj ko batayoon kesay

Eik tufaan ke asaar fiza mein hain yehan
khawab-e-ghaflat say main logoon ko jagayon kesay

Wo tu majboor tha us ko tu chaley jana tha
Ab main iss roothey hoye dil ko manayon kesay

Waqat ki maoj mein beh jatey hain sarey manzer
Behtey pani pe koi naq'sh banayoon kesay

Main ney yeh geet likha tuj ko sunaney ke liye
Raaz ki baat ser-e-baz'm sunayoon kesay.....
