Uss ki Ankhon ko mere Zakham ki Gahrai de

Tere logon se gila hai mere aaine ko
Unn ko pahter nhi deta to benai de

Jiss k eeman pe kya tark tallaq sab se
ab wohi shakhs muje tana e tanhai de

Yeh Dhehn zakham ki surat hai mere chehry per
Ya mere zakham ko bhar ya muje goyai de

Itna be sarfa na jai mere ghar ka jalna
Chasham e garya na sahi chasham e tamashai de

Kya khabar tuj ko kis vazah ka bismal hai faraz
woh to qatal ko b ilzam e masihai de

Hai kahaaN tamanna ka doosra qadam ya rab
hum ne dasht-e-imkaaN KO ek naqsh-e-paa paaya
