Har sham jo waqt pe ghar janay lagay ho,
tum kaisay akelay se nazar anay lagay ho?

"Deewana" to sab Ehl-e-Mohabbat ka laqab hay,
phir kiun tum is ezaaz se ghabraynay lagay ho?

Behtar hay isay ghar k kisi taaq mein rakh do,
Toota hua dil lay k kahan jaanay lagay ho?

Bahain wo haayal hain kisi aur k galay mein,
tum jin k liye choorian banwanay lagay ho,

Ashob-e-nazar se bhi pharakti hay kabhi aankh,
tum ye na samajhna k yaad anay lagay ho.
