Dil ko gham-e-hayaat ganwaara hai in dino,
Pehle jo dard tha wahi chaara hai in dino,

Ye dil zara sa dil teri yaadon mein kho gaya,
Zarre ko aandhiyon ka sahara hai in dino,

Tum aa sako to shab ko badha doon kuch aur bhi,
Apne kahe mein subho ka taara hai in dino.
