teri aankhon ka bhi kia bharosa
aalam e hadsaat hy pyaray
kon is silsalay ko khatam karay
teri zulfoon ki bat hy pyaray
aankh ki har haseen nadani!
ronq e kainaat hy pyaray
subha e mehsher tuo aa hi jaey gi
raat khatam hony ki bat hy pyaray
zindagi ky sitam ko kaya kahiye
soorat e waaqiat hy pyaray
baat sun le tuo tera bhala ho ga
dardmandon ki bat hy pyaray
mustaqil maut ki tamana hy
arzoo e hayat pyaray
hum addm aur bada paymaai
kehnay sun'ney ki baat hy pyaray"

Gul o gulzar ki baten lab o rukhsaar ke qisse

Yahan sub k muqaddar mai faqat zakhm e judayi hai

Sabhi jhoote fasane hain wisaal e yaar k qisse

Bhala ishq o mohabbat se kisi ka pait bharta hai

Suno tm ko sunata hun mai karobar k qisse

Mere ahbaab kehte hain yahi ik aib hai mujh mai

Sar e dewar likhta hun pas e dewar k qisse

Mai aksar s liye logon se ja k khud nahi milta

Wohi be kaar ki baten wohi bekar k qisse.
