Jo wabasta hue tum se wo afsaane kahan jaate,




Nikal kar dair-o-kabaa se agar miltaa na Meh-khana
Tho thukrae hue insaan khudaa jaane kahan jaate,




Tumhaari beh-rukhi ne laaj rakh li badaa khane ki
Tum aankhon se pilaa dete to paimaane kahan jaate,




Chalo acha hua kaam aa gai deewangi apni
Wagarna ham zamane bhar ko samjhaane kahaan jaate,




'Qateel' apna muqaddar gham se begaana agar hota
To apne-paraaye hamse pehchaane kahaan jaate.
