رات کی زلفیں بر ہم برہم
درد کی لَو ہے مدہم مدہم

میرے قصے گلی
تیرا چرچا عالم عالموں گلیوں

پتھر پتھر عشق کی راتیں
حسن کی باتیں ریشم ریشم

یاقوتی ہونٹوں پر چمکیں
اُس کی آنکھیں نیلم نیلم

چہرہ لال گلاب کا موسم
بھیگی پلکیں شبنم شبنم

ایک جزا ہے جنت جنت
ایک خطا ہے آدم آدم

ایک لہو کے رنگ میں غلطاں
مقل مقتل، پرچم پرچم

ایک عذاب ہے بستی بستی
ایک صدا ہے ماتم ماتم

ساری لاشیں ٹکڑے ٹکڑے
ساری آنکھیں پرنم پرنم

ہجر کے لمحے زخمی زخمی
اس کی یادیں مرہم مرہم

داد طلب اعجازِ عصمت
عیسیٰ عیسیٰ، مریم مریم

محسن ہم اخبار میں گم ہیں
صفحہ صفحہ۔۔۔ کالم کالم
