Default Haqeeqat me mar gaya
حقیقت میں مر گیا

دکھ تو نہیں کہ تنہا مسافت میں مر گیا
اچھا ہوا میں تیری رفاقت میں مر گیا

حاکم خود اپنے عہدِ حکومت میں مر گیا
زندہ وہی رہا جو بغاوت میں مر گیا

کچھ نفرتوں کی نذرہوا میرا یہ وجود
باقی جو بچ گیا تھا محبت میں مر گیا

مجھ کو کبھی حصار میں کب لے سکا کوئی
میں اس لئے بس اپنی حراست میں مر گیا

اب تو یہ بات تم کوبہت ناگوار ہے
لیکن اگر کبھی میں حقیقت میں مر گیا ؟

اُس کی محبتوں کا رضی ذکر کیا کروں
اتنا سکوں ملا کہ اذیت میں مر گیا
