I also checked the link and it is really informative.
But the major events of the Pakistani history were well organized in "Akhbar e Jehan" by Jung Group during 1998-99 year. They published each and every important event regarding each year from 1947 to 1997. I dont know if they published it in a book form or not.......... but it is so helpful (at least it is very helpful for me)
