Awards System Explained!
Assalam Alaikum,
Alhamdulillah CSS forums is expanding at a rapid pace, and to show our progress, here are some Stats: Threads: 1,810, Posts 7,776 (), Members: 1,257 Therefore, our admins are trying their best to keep up with members needs and provide a service to us all, that is indeed serves a great deal in our endeavors to excel in CSS. Good news is that the list of our members includes CSP's already serving in respective groups, people with different educational backgrounds who are here to learn from us or for that fact teach us something valuable in the respective fields, and may not be a CSS aspirant. The Award system is started to encourage our members to participate fully within their capacity, and the people who are already serving this forum with their knowledge are given the Awards as a TOKEN OF APPRECIATION from CSS FORUM community. Thanks to the admins and moderators of this forum, who are very pro active to recognize the members who contribute their knowledge with us all in an extraordinary way. Therefore, the first set of Awards have gone to the members picked by our respectable staff. But to not limit the process, each Award come with a TAB where members can nominate others for the Awards, that they think is appropriate for such member. Here is the criterion that one should follow: Gold Medal Awarded to those members with maximum number of reputation points. The User Reputation system allows members to leave comments about one another's' posts, and thereby contribute to their overall 'reputation'. A positive reputation counts as a vote or 10 points. A negative reputation counts as a negative vote or -10. The url below displays all members sorted by reputation in descending order. http://www.cssforum.com.pk/memberlis...putation&pp=30 Moderator Ribbon awarded to moderators of the forum Administrator This ribbon is awarded to administrators for their services Best Moderator Award Awarded for censoring all swearing and keeping posts in order. and so on ... read more here Courtesy to provide Criterion: TIDUS BHIAYA Thanks. |

You can't view the reputation points of other members. However you can view your own points in USER CP. if your points are 1 to 99 it will display a single green bullet in your reputation. If your points are 100 to 199 it will display two green bullets and so on. Members with overall negative reputation (points under 0 i.e. -1 and so on) will display a red bullet.

Assalam Alaikum,
In my own opinion, we have very many members who may not know HOW THE REPUTATION POINTS WORK, at least that was the case when I was new until one of the fellow members told me HOW... Overall, I like the MEDAL OF APPRECIATION, because that one can be given to members based on their participation and not on REPUATION POINTS. I hope that answers your query, Shaitaan Bhaiya. Thanks. |

Introduction of these awards is certainly a very good innovation by the administration, in a sense that it can work as a token of appreciation and bring a bit of competitiveness among the members, But I am not too sure that the strategy of not displaying the points of other members will really increase the spirit of the competition.
