dear forum mod/admins ... i.e, to whomever it may be concerning

i have an issue i need to discuss with you

im having some problem with pms from some newly registered person on the forum. the person is kind of more interested in befriending me rather than css which is highly unprofessional in my view. im not against being friends with people but the particular person's approach seems quite inappropriate ...because this isnt a dating/match seeking site
i was thinking wouldnt it be better if you guys could put in some restrictions like some post limits before people could start sending pms to other members. it would definately curb down the percentage of people registering here for fun sake.

Where there's nectar, there has to be bees. The forum has provided us with a great tool "ignore this user" Hafsah i suggest u use this tool to to make ur life easiest. Secondly n most importantly never use a nickname/login that blatantly signifies ur gender. Believe me boys will be boys n it is best to IGNORE them.

You know, if somebody bothers you on our forum, it is your right to complain against him/her. But you should have proof of that. You kindly block him/her and fwrd those pms to us if you think you can share with us.

I appreciate your straightforward step.

We have already put some restrictions on members to send PMs. When the posts of a person are more than 10 then he/she can utilize the facility of Private Messages.
Anyways it is good that you have brought this matter to our knowledge, we will try our best to handle it. Just forward those PMs to any moderator we will observe the whole matter & if that person is at fault don't worry he will not be left without a penality.

@ All Members.

All of you should remember that this site is free for all & every type of person can get registration here, so if such insidents occour it is not fault of the administration of the site. We try our best to eradicate the trend of this befriending or time passing, but we will be thankful to all of you if you take straightforward steps like Hafsah & tell us about the culprit instead of just balming that the site is only for befriending & dating. Once we have a know how of such member it becomes easy for us to check his/her activities.
