I know it is a formality but people here on this forum are attributing phone calls to their success...I thought your response might shed some light on this issue..

I guess this list is only of the candidates who have not submitted their documents and it has nothing to do with the fact that these candidates are actually shortlisted for interviews. And one more thing that i received only one call for submission of documents on 29-09-2012 and then a sms on 30-09-2012 which claimed that they have contacted me several times. Hope this time they will receive my documents for good

If it is true what MirUsma is saying, then this whole procedure is flawed because there was no use of calling so many candidates for the psychological, only 20% of the top scorers should have been called for the psychological and and only 15% should have been called for the interview.
I seriously doubt it.i seriously also doubt that all those who are required to submit the documents have visa for the interview. My experience is never a percentage is fixed i.e this much percentage of candidates are called for the interview, only no of candidates per seat are called for example two/three candidates per seat and they are also top candidates in written exam.then marks obtained in different exercises are totaled usually given a weightage for example written and psychological may have 50% of the weightage Academic record 25% interview 25% and total marks are obtained after totaling on a scale of 100. It can be 1.5 multiplied by number of each quota seat but it can never be 15% of the total. |

@ mirusama
Can you tell us about your rank improvement? What I want to deduce is that it improved based on the failure of 11 candidates in the Psychological test or it improved based on the combination of written marks + psychological test marks as well. This will also ensure that psychology test also carries some kind of ranking not just suitability. |

i don't know how it happened. this list was made by me, so my rank before the psychological, i calculated, like you've done for yourself. also there're mistakes as one person today said he's from punjab and in my list. today the nab official regretted the fact that i've cleared but the merit no is too low, he said muskil hai and explained the 15% affair.
