one cant say that i am fed up with my current job n want some change or NAB office is at 5 mints drive from my place thats why.

the above answers are true but not appropriate, and personally i could never think up a better justification for this kind of questions.

and one more thing, last tym, in an interview, some one asked a question like this " where do u think u ll stand after 5 yrs?"

n literally the answer that sprang to my mind was "in my room, with a mug of tea/coffee, switching tv channels" or even worse answer "at ur seat ma'am, interviewing fresh ADs of next batch"

so again wat ever question u post, kindly give some suggestions as well on how to respond
Don't worry I will try.

Dear ash have you worked, where do you stand after the written result? You applied for DD right? is the finalization criteria for DD is similar to AD.I.e 15% above the required seats.Or as some one earlier said it has already been finalized. Please shed some light if you already know some thing about it.

That would be very helpful for everyone appearing in interview.

Again NAB called me a while ago and said that have i sent them my graduation result card. I told them that yes i sent it yesterday. They are not leaving any stone unturned to contact those who have to send missing documents.
Call or no call you already stand a strong chance of being picked up for JIO....Having 76 marks, CSS qualified and a lawyer...What else NAB wants....

My interview for NAB in past was taken by the committee comprizing of a Maj Gen, two Brigadiers and a Lt.Col.

As far as I remember the first question they ask was; why do you want to join NAB and what can you do for us? I gave a detailed answer and honestly speaking my reply was all extempor.

Second question was; why do people do corruption and what should be done to eliminate corruption from govt institutions and the society? Again an extempore and detailed reply.

Third question was from my answer to their second question. They got a descriptive reply.

Forth question was: how did you learn such a good English? I simply took it as a compliment and thanked them with smiles.

Last quetion: do you have computer skills?

And thats all.

As you go ahead they will dig you deep. During this you will suddenly be diverted to anther topics such as current corruption practices and may ask you about certain law or type of crime. For example they may ask you "What are the two main type of law in the country?" The simple answer would be, since there are two types of crime, one crime by a person against the state and second the crime by a person against another person (a dispute). As I am not a law graduate this may not be the exact answer. Another question regarding the administration of people may be asked. For example question regarding the "rules of business" in which they mask ask you about say about types and quantity of leaves, special leaves or what kind of action would you take if a person does this or that.

So many and all depends on the type of interview JIO, AD or DD.
Oh rules and regulations of govt are even tougher to know than current affairs and stuff like that. Comprehensive preparation required.

n for questions about nab history, functions etc best answer will be "we will learn them within coming few yrs" but still ok cramming information abt one organization is fine but not whole history thing.

n where are those good ppl who said interview ll be a formality and nothing difficult ll be asked there.
They might ask . So we all ought to prepare fully. But without knowing the result of written one cant prepare properly.

Bro i had good marks in CSS written part with preparation of few months only but i was very pathetic in interview.
So i am quite concerned about my performance here. Result must be declared now so one can start preparation.

And all these things you mention does not guarantee a slot in interview because psychological/ integrity test gives a simple yes or no depending on the performance of that test only.

im getting two different news from NAB,
today's news. interview letters are going to be dispatched after 15 20 days. and the weight age given to interview is 50%. so if they have done that, they'll call 3-5 people per seat. get down to prepare for the interview. it's going to be a game changer! good luck all.

this negates my yesterday's comments, i apologise, i know i might have created confusion. in all honesty i am just reporting what i hear. but seriously now i don't know what to believe.
