It means they were not giving her extension that is why she used influence.

and this also indicates that same panel is not going to visit all the regional offices, because members from sindh and balochistan are also called on 22nd oct

I am from punjab also but i didn`t received any info about it. There will be at least one or two persons from Isb HQ in every panel, and not the whole panel.

@Ramsha your way of expression really frustrates me. I am more frustrated that you used your influence on NAB officials and they acquiesced. I am also amazed at the mindset of using "influence". You are not special at all to get special treatment for special interview... This means they will hold our merit list and set up another interview committee to interview an special person. Secondly, your information is incomplete, they have already finished interviews of Addl Directors. May be you apply your influence once again to take your all three interview together. If you were so interested in NAB job, why did you travel to US when it was in everybody's knowledge that interviews were around the corner.

I was in the US when I learnt a week before that the written test was to be held on 22nd June I rushed back to Pakistan to take it. I postponed my important visit to UK in September, because I thought interviews could take place any time. I do not belong to privileged class, hence I do not yearn for this kind of red-carpet treatment. This is irony in Pakistan that people hold the official business in state institutions hostage to their will, and get the things done as per their choice.

Using influence just to extend the date is not an issue, and that is 1st nov guys no need to worry, May be she is already scheduled to come on eid. If she is that influential or was willing to use influence, she could have got the appointment letter too before tests. We should thank her that she is giving interview and not going to top seats just by influence We all know that it is that easy for privileged class.

I am just worried about that she is from punjab and got the call.. and I am still waiting to receive.

At least they should give a missed call to those not shortlisted

I got 72 in JIO and 70 in AD test from Punjab...... My merit no. was 23 in Punjab for AD and my psychological test was also cleared......there are 54 seats of AD for Punjab...... But not received any call from NAB for interview yet.....

Bro I have no idea but they havnt contacted any one from kpk or punjab till yet.lest see I was informed that punjab interview will be conducted before eid and run after eid too,if I come to know anything I will definitely share with you all

I can understand your feelings, dear. I somewhat feel the same way as well. But, we must approach this matter prudently. I don't think you have noticed but the lady had not disclosed her reasons for being in the US. I don't know what the reason is. Perhaps she's there for her treatment or the treatment of a loved one. Or, perhaps she's there to attend a funeral. We have no idea why she is there. Further, she did not detail the entire conversation that took place between her and rhe particular official of NAB. She only gave us two lines about it so to form a judgment based based on that would be a bit rash. The evidence isn't sufficient to reach a conclusion, dear. I am not supporting her here, but at the same time, we cannot condemn her because we don't have the whole story. Of course, the part where she used her influence to get a new interview date was wrong but if her reason was a genuine one and the person whom she spoke to was not ready to concede to her request to reschedule the date, then did she have any choice? I do agree that if her reason was not a genuine reason and the person rightly refused to change the interview date, then in that case, I think this needs to be condemned.

I, too, lost my temper when I read her comment but then I decided to look at it rationally and not be judgmental.
