P.S Medical examination is not conducted in PIMS.
Today I went to pims they took my test samples, xrays and TMorow they will issue the medical certificate no charges have been taken upto now. Some one told me about that g-7/3 option but as the letter was addressed to pims I went there. But pims was dam occupied.

First get yourself registered (there is a section called Courtesy go directly there show your offer and letter for medical)
They will register you for medical, they will recommend tests and take samples of blood etc. you have to submit samples at collection counter yourself, go through Xrays, next day collect all your reports and go to courtesy again they will take u to a surgeon he will see your test results will investigate/examine u further and subsequently will write the certificate.

It's really horrible. Don't know what's our future as a nation? The clerck of civil surgeon's office at peshawar took a bribe of 550 from me, calling it a processing fee while the govt eye surgeon charged me 1000 at his office in civil services hospital kpk. Both of them kept the money in their pockets without maintaining any record or issuing any receipt.
It's really a pity that these people have got the guts to take bribe even from the future NAB officers.
Upon too much insisting i somehow managed to get a receipt from the eye specialist but don't know what to do with it.
1500 rupees are nothing to worry about but the behaviour and attitude of this nation is awful. They have no fear of God nor system when it comes to MONEY.
Nobody has ever taken any action against this corrupt practice at fedral medical center in peshawar while they do this with all newly inducted fedral officers including PSPs and CSPs.
Legal fees for medical checkup is Rs 100 only and that is properly submitted through a national bank or treasury in fovour of govt. Rest all is Hera Pheri

Dear brother, are you sure legal fee for medical checkup is Rs. 100 and nothing more?

Here in Lahore, civil surgeon office charged us 750 (apart from 100 which were deposited in NBP)

I asked the clerk there and he said its medical examination board fee. However, he also didn't issue any receipt for 750 he took.

Please, tell is that how you can say that its hera phairi or bribe? Is there anyother other proof or reason for calling it a bribe? Thanks and waiting

I was examined by Civil Surgeon of Islamabad. And he did not charge any fee for medical. I had to pay for some of the tests which had to be conducted in a private lab. As per my knowledge there is no fee for tests and medical conducted in a government hospital. I was issued a medical certificate with in 3,4 hours.

Does any one has knowledge about the joining formalities? Should we bring our luggage along with us on next friday or would they ask us to come directly to the Police College on Monday?

Regards,
