i had detailed conversation with the concerned clerk.. he told me that they dont verify the original degrees.. they verify only photocopies.. for verification of degrees the proper forum is IBCC..
but one thing i m not sure of is that whether we have to get verified only the photocopies of degrees or the original ones too???

Brother as far as my knowledge, no need to visit gujranwala board. IBCC is authorized to attest both intermediate and matric certificates. You got 2 options, 1- to get attested from relevant board (gujranwala in your case) and 2- from IBCC. IBCC is the main body who coordinates all the boards and got the authority to attest. Why to go relevant board. If you have any relative in Lahore, ask him to visit IBCC office @ Mozang Road (86-Mozang i think) and get information for you. Saturday is on. I am planning to visit that office on Monday if you can wait till monday, i will update you. I have the same case as yours. I did Matric and FSc from Multan board. So decided quickly.

Dear Najam, we have to get verified originals too. Don't take a chance and submit both original and photocopies. Don't forget to keep a set of photocopy for you just in case they take too long.

You can check it by typing "What is IBCC attestation" the first result will be what i wrote above.

Brother decision is yours what is important for you. If someone on your behalf can do that give him authority letter with a copy of you CNIC, you 3 pictures (just in case needed). Give it to some responsible person who could understand what is at stake

My concerned board of metric has issued verification letter and attested two copies of certificate in a single day. IBCC would take too much time better to get it from the concerned board.

Federal board does not verify original documents... They only verify photocopies and return them in a sealed envolope adressed to IBcc people at IB Cc attest originals as well as photocopies...

One important thing that i missed is to first get if verified from relevant board first. IBCC will not entertain until verified from board.
