Exactly the same is my case, i have verified my matric and fsc certificate from BISEP back in 2000/2002, now kindly elaborate the process for me as i will be going to pheshawer in coming week for this purpose. Your guidance would be highly valuable for me.

There is no need to verify the original degrees and matric, inter certificates from HEC and IBCC respectively. So only verify/attest matric and inter certificate from respective board and there is no need to attest or verify from IBCC at all. Also, NAB asked for photo copies of degrees attested/varied by the HEC but HEC doesn't verify the photo copies unless original are verified. So visit your respective board and HEC to fulfil the second condition of NAB interview letter.

Guys! I verified my degrees last year, do I need to get them verified again for NAB? Copies of that should suffice imo...2ndly I've interview for both posts so I would need to get 4 copies of each degree/certificate verified.... And that sounds quite absurd to me.
What should I do??

Bro! when did you pass out from uni? How much time has passed since you got your transcript?
If its more than 6-8 month, its very much possible that your degree is resting in some drawer of Admin dptt(white house).
I got my degree after some 9-10 months by paying urgent degree fee and that too in a single day (the official also told me it takes 2 months) that was is 2011.

I have applied for the post of JIO
Marks: 57 in the first test and have sat for the psychological test
I have been hearing things on TV, especially to the current case of an inspector. Dr. Shahid Masood says that 'lanat ho 3 baar NAB par kay woh apni hi bandey ko bacha na sakey'
I primarily wanted to inquire about if there is any luck for me this fiasco, but reading the comments and the issues that you all face as we type and read, there's a lot of explanation to do on NAB's part. I hope and pray that soon are queries and concerns are answered and that the truth prevails.
Please inquire if there is any luck that I may have qualified for the interview? JazakAllah khair

Well in my case, transcript was issued on 23 May 2013 but Assistant Controller examination was not in "mood" to issue degree, in a day or week. I presented him NAB letter also but he said its not a paper that they could issue in a day or week. He argued, there are some certain reason to issue degree with in 3 years but not before two years. If someone apply for urgency bases it would also took at least one month. I also argued with him bitterly however I also apologies to him in these words " Sir, I'm bound by the NAB's instructions that's why my tone litter bit impulsive that may be uncomfortable for you, Sir sorry for that." He replied, "no Son, we are here to serve you to possible extant."

Bro Zia, I hope, NAB will soon contact you at your cell about interview letter. Discuss your matter with him.
