How long is the contract period? Does that means we have to leave the job after set number of years for example 5 years?

What a pathetic service by TCS. I have not received the letter yet. TCS asks for tracking number and I contacted NAB, they have no tracking numbers. Anyone who has not received the letter yet, contact NAB on this number and share the problem.

Regarding nature of jobs, dear colleagues, all government jobs are temporary in the beginning, later they will be confirmed. So, don't worry these are permanent jobs, In Sha Allah.

Bismillah and apply with confidence.

please do not mis-guide the members.when there is written clearly that these are temporarily jobs how you can say that they may become permanent...?
there are there main categories of jobs offered by Govt.
PERMANENT
CONTRACTUAL
TEMPORARY.
in case of temporary jobs,none can take any claim/benefit from any court if they are terminated from the job..same is the case with contractual jobs that after completion of contract,one cant take any claim/benefit from any court.

so its responsibility of all of us to guide properly and truely to others.

same confusion is here..if we quit our permanent job for purely temporary as disclosed by the letter,what is the future,then.....?

what this point means;

Your appointment will not confer on you any claim for the title to regular appointment/ permanent retention in the NAB.

Don't be panic bro. These are permanent jobs and this is how NAB offers a job. Same offer was given to officers currently serving in NAB.

Still waiting for letter

These are permanent jobs. After probition. If it's contractual or adhoc then why there is a probition period??? During probition rules are different.

confirmed with NAB HR person today he told that all jobs in NAB are on Temporary basis.. Hence you can assume that no one is going to kick you out but be aware that these are not permanent. You will get promotions and everything but NAB itself is not a permanent department yet as it is founded by an ordinance I believe that is why jobs here are not permanent.
