Dear, these are permanent positions, at present obviously they are temporary because we will be on probabtion but after probation period we will be confirmed. In Sha Allah.

This is standard procedure in every government organisation. NAB HR is right in saying that theae are temporary positions, and that too is mentioned in the letter... because at present they are temporary, but will be confirmed after Raining and probationary period. In Sha Allah.

Secondly, NAB was created through an ordinance but dear you are confusing it with general term of the ordinance. Its now not a mere ordinance (which lapses in four months time) rather it has been validated by the parliament through Article 270AA of the constitution. Hence, NAB is now a permanent body unless desolved by competent authority. Same is the case with everyother permanent body.



@ Conspirator brother,

Dear I asked the TCS guy and he said he got the letter today (yesterday) for deliver. So, don't worry, In Sha Allah you will get the letter today.

Exactly, probation period, 5 years bond to serve NAB, all other allowances, increments, fringe benefits are usually part of Permanent job. In contractual jobs, usually a lump sump package that includes everything is offered within fix time line in no. Of years.
In Govt. service, except contractual all jobs are permanent.

Can anyone explain how should we accept the offer? Is there a specific format for the acceptance letter? And should we send it by courier or by hand?

Can senior members share details about medical examination? Is it just a formality or detailed examination?

Probation period is just to regulate the conduct of the employees..as it is written clearly that after one year,there would be another one year..in these 2years employees can be easily kicked out with no security of service/job.

I agree with you dear..even employees will have promotions and increments etc bt not pension and security of job unless and untill employees become permanent..and promotions and incrementd are part of service not a matter of being permanent or temporary but one can never have pension and job security
.you can confirm it with any lawyer and service tribunals,as i confirmed it.

Just write a letter by giving reference number and date and say that i accept this offer and all its conditions.
Send it either by courier or personally,whichone is feasible for you

It would be a general medical.chest x-rays,blood and urine tests,finger prints,and eye sight tests.test would be conducted in a day but reports will be provided lattet after examination of medical board which usually is conducted on tuesday..normally 2-4 days process

I have talked to NAB Head Office, you guys just have to write a simple letter addressed to the same AD whose sent you the Offer Letter.

I wrote my letter like this, addressed to the undersigned of the offer letter.

Refer to your letter NO.____________ dated:____________ I hereby accept your offer of appointment for the post of assistant director. I also accept all the terms and conditions mentioned in the letter.
Yours faithfully

Senior members please guide about the medical examination. Do we need to appear before the board constituted by PIMS which also examines candidates for CSS or do we simply need to go to ordinary Patient area of the hospital and follow instructions of any medical officer sitting there ??

What is federal surgeon? Where can we find such surgeon? Any idea?

BPS-16 & above medical is examined by central medical board of NIRM and its constituent / camp hospitals.
I appeared before G-8/2 camp office of NIRM, they referred to some lab situated in blue area for few blood tests, x-ray & urine test. Medical board examines candidates every Tuesday. Reports are directly sent to the NIRM office.
Total lab expenses are 2000/-.
Board fee 800/- to be deposited in cash. on board day &
Some govt fee 100/- to be deposited in NBP branch.
