w.salam. test will be mcqs type. 100 mcqs in 100 minutes. test will be held on 13th of September, i have already up-loaded syllabus, follow that syllabus. and test may be held on the same day with different time settlement. yes you can and you should apply for both vacancies.

Preventive Officer (BS-16) is lower in rank than Inspector/Intelligence Officer (BS-16). Furthermore there are five stages/ranks of BS-16 in Customs starting from Office Superintendent -> Preventive Officer -> Inspector of Customs/ Intelligence Officer/Senior Preventive Officer / Examining Officer -> Deputy Superintendent of Customs/ Senior Intelligence Officer/ Inspector Preventive Services/ Appraissing officer -> Superintendent of Customs/ Superintendent of Intelligence & Investigation/ Superintendent of Preventive Services/ Principal Appraiser .... After Inspector/Intelligence Officer, there are two more ranks till one becomes BS-17 Assistant/Deputy Collector .... and i've heard that Promotions are HELL SLOW!!!! But non the less, its a very good career path!!!
