i did not say sorry per say but i did made some wild guesses. interestingly before making them i even told the interviewer that 'honestly i read it somewhere but i will have make a guess here'...perhaps its a bad omen...like i answered that the exclusive economic zone of pakistan extends to about 4km...actually it is something like 235,000 sq.km...damn!

Instead of saying this 'honestly i read it somewhere but i will have make a guess here'., you should have said sorry. By giving above mentioned statement, it becomes evident that you are not very much clear in your opinions/statements. Anyhow, miracles do happen. Wish you best of luck.

The interview letter is received normally 15 days before the interview date.

i appeared for interview at Karachi center on 24th. Interview was of general type. As i am a civil engineer they asked me about rivers in Pakistan and Punjab and related question. they also asked me about the area of my district and industries therein. they also asked how much population my district had and how many MNAs/MPAs we had. then they asked about fbr, customs and why i want to join fbr as customs inspector. The third portion was actually quite argumentative. bearded member of the panel asked me to guess 5 headlines of that day's newspaper and asked me the reason why a supreme court judge resigned from his post earlier that day. He asked me to explain the arguments given in favor and against Kalabagh dam. Afterwards he said that Assume you are the prime minister of the country then what will be your priorities and we had a big argument on this point and i gave him Singapore's example and he talked about Malaysia and why did they had to go for that break-up with Singapore.
