Today, I gave test for the post of Jr. Research Officer in NACTA through Pakistan Testing Services (PTS). I can't express my feelings in words but it was the worst test experience that I ever had in my entire life. In short, following are the key points:-

1). Most of the candidates were sitting side by side and were solving paper like a "group exercise" by sharing answer sheets, in presence of invigilator.

2). Majority of the candidates were solving paper with the help of mobile phones. Some through hands-free or some through google. Even one of the candidates placed his mobile phone on the table for his "convenience".

3). One of the candidates, sitting behind me, were continuously asking me the answers. When I warned him, he started asking from the next one.

I don't know where we're going and where's the transparency BUT one thing I observed that somewhere, we are also responsible. I almost decided to raise my voice in the room against this injustice but when I turned my head around, almost all the candidates were doing this "great work".

I, this is what I could do least, handed over my paper to the invigilator and refused to appear in the next physiological test of 30 minutes. I heard a voice of invigilator that 'my paper would be cancelled if I don't participate in the physiological test'. "I don't want to", this is what I could say him.

I once broke this silence when same situation happened in another test. I even wrote to the Chairman and other high profile ministers but no one even bother to reply. Even this time, I was about to raise my voice but what to do when majority is corrupt?.

One of the candidates, may be in his frustration, directly asked answer from the invigilator who replied him with smile, "aaisa to naa karo yaar"..!! When few candidates were facing difficulties in finding their seats, before starting paper, then invigilators announced (actually addressed all) loudly... Candidates, SIT wherever you find the empty chair.!!

BTW, there were two "observers" from NACTA sitting in the examination room and watching this all drama. Now, you can imagine, how much complain will be fruitful, if anyone does.

THIS is the NACTA that will STOP the terrorism..!! Funny.

I, once, also appeared in a test conducted by PTS. Later, I did not find my test score, name or Roll# in the Result List posted by PTS on its website. Neither pass nor fail, I called many times to PTS at the given number but no one was even there to pick the call. Finally, I wrote a letter to the Chairman PTS with my test Fee Challan copy, also forwarded the same application to the Head of concerned department (for which the test was conducted) but all in vain... Everyone was so busy not even to reply me back...

Sad. Their number always comes busy and they don't bother to reply through emails. I wish, we could do something fruitful to stop this INJUSTICE. Least, I have decided not to APPLY for any post announced by PTS in future because how can anyone except MERIT from them in this condition.

CURSE of God on such testing centers as well as "departments" who're UTILIZING their services.

One of my friends sent "LETTER TO THE EDITOR" in DAWN against same kind of injustice by FPSC but our so-called leading newspaper even refused to publish it. People wants to raise their voices BUT who will listen?.

FPSC & Poor Invigilation

We would like to draw the kind attention of higher authorities towards the serious negligence in various examinations conducted by the FPSC including in CSS. Mobile phones, as per the rules, are strictly not allowed in the examination halls but it has been noticed that some individuals manages to smuggling devices into room and take snaps of question papers that ultimately circulates on social media forums. Recently, FPSC conducted the test for the post of Assistant Director (BS-17) in Federal Government Organization in two different batches and by the evening, question paper was circulating on social media. Similarly, recently conducted objective part of CSS 2017 English paper is also mingling.

FPSC is one of the most prestigious institutes of our country. Recently, Senate Standing Committee on Communications (http://www.dawn.com/news/1294144) also underscored FPSC to conduct all recruitment exams especially of BS-17 due to their credibility as compared to private testing services. However, such incidents jeopardize institute’s reputation that may encourages private testing services - who are already notorious for charging huge money – only because of lack of appropriate invigilation by some FPSC staffs.

Therefore, we request FPSC to ensure transparency by proper invigilation and taking serious action against such malpractices.

Same is the case with me.I appeared for test of Sub Engineer In Ministery of Houseing and Works. All what happens there was illegeal what tou Guys all mentioned earlier. After that they did'nt Provide result.I called them , Sent them emails, they say Someone Filed a case againts those post and court given stay. So Whenevr court will order, we will display result. They took a lot of money from candidates. Somewhat near 4 lacs from a single test centre for just keeping mobile phones. All i want to say is that we all should stand for this in justie. Lets Be unite for Our rughts.

WE all should boycott PTS and shouldn't submit the application against any post announced by PTS in future.

I understand there is high unemployment and people will say, 'it will be your lost if you won't apply' but my question is.. what is the point to apply if there is no transparency?. Just to waste money and time?.

This is the only best solution.
