Congrats for having 'two birds in hand'. AD ANF is a better option as grade 17 provides far better chances of growth when compared to grade 16. If a Major General heads ANF, u may be merged in Secretariat Group after grade 20 as there exists a quota of Ex-cadre officers in Federal Unified Group.so it depends upon ur faculties. good luck.

Default AD ANF or Inspector FIA (point of view of Ghotkian)

i am surprised that according to Mr Ghotkian AD ANF is better then Inspector FIA, (please re check ur memory and then inform others). u just watching (gives u 4 wheel drive vehicles in Grade 17 wid driver and unlimited fuel but ANF does) Sir vehicle he sab kush nahin hotee baqi raha fuel unlimited wali baat bikul WRONG hai.

Sincerely itni bata dain kiya aap apni (there are two divisions in each Police Sations Jurisdiction) is jurisdiction main AD hotay hovay AIK SINGLE STEP be lai saktay hao.
Jo kush Shahid Pervaiz nai khod dekha hai aur ASIM 888 nay kaha hai wo bilkul right hai. Likan agar Mr GHOTKIAN aik vehicle aur two division jurisdiction main hee khosh hai to yeh aur baat hai.

Default No dear no post of Sub Inspector FIA announced
Hi Dear

FIA has already taken test for recruitment of 48 inspectors. New seats will be announced next year.

Many thanks to respected members especially rana_tipu and Asim 888. Due to their positive and sincere response i have joined FIA and i think i have made a right decision, however time will tell. There is a simillar problem with my coleague Fawad Anwar Bhatti. He is presently A.D in Anf and has been selected in Passport and Immigration Department As A.D. Kindly guide in light of ur experiences that he should join new assignment or remain at his presnent job.

Sir, agar join kar k chorna tha to jo loog waiting main top par thay onn ke omeed be khtam kar deen, aur khod be other department main shift ho gai. Yeh aschi baat nahin hai, espicially Shahid Sahib jo within 2 months he jan gai k ANF kiya hai,

agar kise nay join karnay k baad choorna hota hai to oss ko chahay k join na karay kiyon k kam iz kam waiting walay espicially wo jo junior ranks main hain aur waiting main thay onn ko chance mil jata. sab sai request hai k aisa decision lain jis sai khod ko be faida ho aur dosron ko naqsaan na ho.

Shahid bhai and bhatti bhai salamz , i am visiting this forum after a long while. I am astonished and happy that you joined FIA instead of ANF .Inshallah you will not regret .Although my chacha is in FIA ,he is a medical doctor and he is very much satisy with his job. onething i want to share with you that one of my family member was selected as ASI in fia and he is know AD . Bhai FIA is a good rather best dept for its exposure and training .
Bhatti saab ko kahein sir Passport and Immig join kar lein kal ko FIA mein deputation bhi ho sakay gee . hummara passport bhi free mein bun jay gaaa lol .

I'll suggest you to go for 17th grade....
In FIA no doubt you'll grow rich in weeks but promotion is very difficult.
