asalam-o-alaikum everyone,
please let me know whether B.E civil is equivalent to masters or not because its also 4 year degree. Am i eligible to apply for the post of assistant director????
And is it a permanent or contract base????

Most of the jobs advertised by Federal Government are temporary. It is not a matter of worry. I am working for Federal Governmnet for 4 years and still is Active Temporary.

Temporary vs Contractual


Temporary jobs are subject to confirmation after completion of probationary period. Whereas contractual jobs are often for specific tenor and after completion of contract period you are jobless, only in exceptional cases contracts are extended or renewed if such provision is already mentioned in your employment terms and conditions.

So don't worry about temporary jobs because temporary job is better than contractual job. It is practice in job advertisements to mention temporary status because of probationary period.

Dear all,

I have to inquire that i have done B.Sc (Hons) Agri and according to HEC notification i m eligible for applying the post of BS-17 and what do u reckon i m eligible for the post and my degree is equivalent for this post criteria??????????

Anyone having 16 years education in any decipline is eligible to apply. If your degree is 16 years then you are eligible otherwise not.
