Question Difference b/w GAT & GRE?

I just want to know..is there any difference b/w Gat and GRE??
I am more than confused after searchind on web!!!

Both are at the same level. Both are taken at least after graduation.

GRE is "Graduate Records Examination", an exam by ETS on basis of which some international and national universities decide their admission standards.

However, GAT is "Graduate Admission Test", an exam by NTS on basis of which HEC scholarships and some national universities decide their standards.

The same problem I encountered,but through this prestigious forum I came to know that they are same.
Internationaly it is called as GAT but in pakistan NTS term it as GRE-Local.But the pattern remains same.

thats why i was confuse...their patterns appeared to be same but the titles were different.
