Regarding number of vacancies there will be no more 20 seats from all over pakistan because 0f total strenght of PAF 6500 including 600 pilots. However the GD course contains more vacancies because they will be permanent assest of PAF.
How they divide 20 vacancies the first priority is the armed forces personal whether on duty or retired, 70 percent of the seats reserved for that purposes if you are the son or daughter of the PANA forces officer than you are a lucky men on the planet. There will be no less chance to reject if minor or major fault is found they ignore it because of the background.
The 20 percent quota is set for ministry of defense because in this ministry severals of recruitment are directly assign by the minister of defense if you are closer to them then you are a lucky men.
The remaining 10 percent is for you and me but remeber that you are still be able to lucky if you are from rural areas in which education, literacy rate is low which means less competition, while in urban areas this is totally reciprocal.
The story behind all this process is the british military regulation system. This military system is no more using in the UK because it is the process of use manpower of another country and utilising the purpose of base country.
